 Hello all,  I hope you are well. In this post, I’ll introduce the assignment that is assigned to us. I worked with my friends Fatma Reyhan Tuğ and Hayrunnisa Azbay . First, we had to choose modal verbs or vocabulary phrases that are mostly confused. We chose Must and Should to differentiate their usage. Then, we chose  a corpus to create a teaching material and a lesson plan based on it.  Our aim was to teach the differences  between them and to help students explore the authentic use of these modals by using a corpus.  As corpus we chose CorpusMate which is the easiest one to use in my opinion. We created  materials, planned the activities, and wrote clear instructions on the worksheet to help students use CorpusMate without trouble.
